Bad Timing…
Posted by Erin, the RobotGrrl on Wednesday, May 7th, 2008
Wowza! I caught a really doozie cold. It sucks!
It has taken all of my energy away from making the Styrobots (more on that later) which I’ll be using to fundraise money to go to Stanford.
Speaking of taking energy away… our power will be cut today! I hope that my fever won’t drive me insane. I’ll probably read Foundation by Isaac Asimov, or something
Thanks for hanging in there…

Store
The story of my store begins with my Styrobots, which begins with my acceptance into the Stanford EPGY Summer Institutes Artificial Intelligence program for 2008. In order to go there, I needed money! So, I came up with Styrobots.
All of the money from the store goes towards my Robotic Fund. This enables me to buy parts for the robots that I enjoy creating!
I appreciate all help! :D

Colds, yuk.
Have you read “I Robot” by Isaac Asimov? My dad had that book. It’s a collection of interesting short stories. Asimov starts off with the guidelines under which robots were built, i.e. they cannot harm humans. I should borrow the 2004 film of it someday.
The Foundation series was a strange set because it took place over so long a period.

Indeed! I,Robot is one of my favourites. The movie is horrible compared to the book, though!

Yeah, after I posted this, I read the reviews. Guess I’ll borrow something better.
