FIRST Objective
If you’re a student who’d like to join a FIRST robotics team but your school doesn’t participate, there’s a new website just for you. The new website, called First Objective, can help you find a team at a nearby school or even help you get a team organized at your own school.
I checked the site out, it’s pretty cool, except it is more USA based rather than Canadian based. Oh well! Still worth checking out… I wish I could find a team though to participate with!

Nanotube Radio
This is pretty slick, it’s a nanotube radio! Maybe one day we will all have iPod fleas..
Apparently
The audio-quality of the signal demodulated by the CNT was very clear and indistinguishable to the human ear from listening to the music directly
Nanotech is pretty kewl!

CCSU Robot Competition
Cool robot competition!
Central Connecticut State University hosted the Second Annual Connecticut’s Best Robotics Competition today. It was robot against robot in a race against the clock. Their mission is to move supplies on a simulated base on Mars. “The objective is that we have to make a robot, a box and ot it in our robot and we only have three minutes to do it,” said middle schooler Tanzia Shaheen of Hals Academy.
Just wish Canada had more things like this… *sigh* Link.
